How to know if my computer has internet access?

heres what to do... go to your CONTROL PANEL then
NETWORK AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS then NETWORK CONNECTIONS . (If your in classic view, click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS.)
on your NETWORK CONNECTION you will see there if your LAN/WLAN is connected.
if you want to know if you are connected even without looking in your NETWORK CONNECTION do this steps.
  1. in your NETWORK CONNECTIONS, right click your LAN/WLAN.
  2. in the menu that will appear, choose PROPERTIES.
  3. a windows will popup, below the window you will see two sentences with a blank checkbox in the side that say.
- Show icon in notification are when connected - Notify me when this connection is limited or no connectivity 4. Check the 2 boxes beside it, just like the photo below. heifentrixx_2.jpg 5. CLick OK. and thats it.
Goodluck. Hope it helps.

I need all drivers

Its hard to find your drivers in google.

1st download and try to install these.

http://www.mediafire.com/?9qcuwdwcbcml2vi

the link above is a lan driver.try if it will work with your motherboard.

then try to access the internet. Once you have access to the internet, download this software

http://www.mediafire.com/?hwh6v0yymmrsho8

After downloading this software, extract and install it.

If your asked for the serial key, you will find it in the extracted folder. The name is Key.bmp

after entering the Key, Start Scan then after scanning. download the drivers of your motherboard.

Goodluck.

Please give me update if my solution worked. thanks.

When your using Internet connection via LAN you need to configure the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties at the Network Connection Wizard. To configure the Network Connection just follow this steps:
1. Double click the My Computer from your desktop/screen.
2. At the left side of the My Computer menu click the My Network Places then click View Network Connections in the left side of that window also.
3. Double click the Local Area Connection and click Properties.
4. When the Local Area Connection Properties was appear select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click Properties.
5. The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties are also apear, then click Use the following IP address and fill-up the following: IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server.
6. After all you fill-up click OK Button.
Note: Make sure that the IP Address you fill-up in your network connection are not the same with the other computer to avoid conflict. Just copy the configuration on the computer like: Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server. Only the IP Address are unique to the other computer. Example; 192.168.0.5 that is the IP Address of last computer are connected in the network. The IP Address you able to use is 192.168.0.6, only the last digit of the IP Address your going to change.

I cant access the internet.

If you have the cable plugged to your modem, connect the cable to the pc and then restart the modem.

Also try a reboot and make sure you don't have windows firewall on nor static IP.

Cheers

I disabled the lan and when i enabled it again it won't work

Hi, well now you have windows registry confused. The PCI card may have come with software & you installed it. (See if its listed in add/remove programs & uninstall it), than go to this link & download the free software to clean your registry. (Keep the onboard lan disabled in the bios).
http://www.pctuneuptips.com/recommends/clean/?gclid=CL2RiIrTmpICFSFMGgodODIPzg
When the program finishes close the program & shut down the system. Than boot the system & enter the bios. Enable the onboard lan. Save & exit. With any luck windows will see your lan & ask for the software. You can use the CD to guide windows to the lad driver software or you can download it from ECS. The online lan may be a bit newer or may not be. Click here to go to ECS web site:
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=474&DetailName=New&DetailDesc=915G-M%20%20(V1.0)&CategoryID=1&MenuID=82&LanID=0
If you are running XP install through windows device manager.
Run into trouble, just let me know what the trouble is & we'll go from there.
Good luck!
Mike
