Question about Refrigerators

Open Question

HCA39FA Hoover/Candy are really appalling when it comes to the service for this model. My door seals haven't been working properly for months, and the fridge isn't even 3 years old. I have had 2x regasses for the fact that my fridge isn't getting cold. I now have no freezer working either. I ordered new doors as they apparently took months to arrive - back in February, and 7 months later - eventually got a replacement fridge/freezer as they don't produce the doors for that model anymore. Now my new Hoover/Candy replacement is making the most horrendous noise (new) and they don't know what it is! I hate this brand and will NEVER buy another EVER. Natalie

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: cannot open the bottom freezer door anymore; it seems stuck

sounds as though the defrost system has failed or the freezer defrost drain is blocked. take off the back panel of the freezer and see if excess ice build up. if so, defrost carefully with a hairdryer. at bottom is a drain. check if blocked with ice and if so melt off with hot water till water flows away freely. if i'm right, appliance will start to work. if fault re-occure then defrost system is at fault

SOURCE: loud noise from the freezer side

The problem is a buildup of ice on the plastic housing (the curved plastic bit) in the back of the freezer under the fixed shelf where the icetub goes. The fan behind this plastic housing is hitting the ice when the defrost comes on.

Unplug the fridge, unpack the freezer, remove the four screws in the back, take off the sheetmetal backing and let the fridge thaw. You can remove the plastic piece after a while and get the ice off (be careful not to remove the styrofoam insulation by going too quickly).

Reassemble and you're back in business, for a few months. I'm never buying Samsung again myself.

Hoover Windtunnel model U5491900air isblowing out of side filter no air coming into bag

The bag chamber is not sealing properly. Turn on the unit again, block up the hose with one hand and feel around the bag door to determine where the suction loss is coming from. It could be near the bottom of the door where one of the tabs have not been inserted properly. Good luck!
