If you are getting message from hot mail
MSN & HOTMAIL are owned and operated by MICROSOFT!

there is no support for open standards (POP and IMAP)

DUMP HOTMAIL, or run a program on your computer that retrieves hotmail and forwards it to a NORMAL standards compliant server.

there are several programs on http://versiontracker.com

but my advice is still, DUMP HOTMAIL

You may refer to this step-by-step tutorial, it's about how to recover iOS device data (including iPhone, iPod and iPad), works for videos, songs, photos, contacts, email, message, apps and file. This guide works fairly well for me.

Need to know the carrier of my Iphone

I suggest to know the lock/unlock status of an iPhone contact the customer support and get the necessary info about whether your iPhone is with...If it is locked with a particular network and you want to use it with other sim then you need to unlock the iPhone. To unlock an iPhone the remote unlock service would be a better option because, you need not give your mobile to someone else nor do you have any chance to enter the wrong unlock codes. To get such an unlocking service for your iPhone approach Wickedunlock.com and by submitting the country and network to which the mobile is locked to you will be able to remove the restriction from the respective network. This will be a permanent unlocking solution.

Restore software for ipod 16GB touch

i would be checking the usb lead before doing anything or even replacing it with a new one make sure iis securely connected
the cable near the iTunes symbol represents a problem with the cable
and the cd will not not be able to activate without a connection

Connect one end of the USB sync cable to one of your computer's unused USB ports, and connect the other end to the bottom of the iPhone or iPod Touch.

If iTunes does not start on its own, run it using the desktop or Start menu shortcut.

When iTunes starts, you should see an icon for the iPhone or iPod Touch on the left side of the window.

Click "Summary" in the right pane of the window if it is not already active.

Click the "Restore" button to begin the device restoration process.

ITunes displays a message asking if you want to save the contents of the device to your computer before restoring it.

If you have not backed up the device already, click the "Back Up" button.

If you have already done this, click "Don't Back Up."

Click "Restore." ITunes clears the data from your iPhone or iPod Touch and reinstalls the device's original firmware.

The screen of your iPhone or iPod Touch may shut off while iTunes works.

Do not remove the USB sync cable.

When iTunes is done restoring the device, it displays a message letting you know that the device is about to restart.

Click "OK" to restart the device. If you are restoring an iPhone or iPod touch, wait for the "iPhone / iPod touch is activated" message to appear on the screen of the device before you disconnect it from the computer.

You may now restore your backup of the device or remove it from the computer.

hope this helps

I do not remember my password, my ipodtouch is disabled and I can not unlock it. Can anyone help?

this will restore it and i think cancel the warranty
but its the only way to do it

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

the iPod screen will remain black untill you restore it

Help with my ipod touch

if it is disabled then restoring is the only option i guess..
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
  2. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
  3. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB to iPhone, the device should then power on.

Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait" , let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.
  4. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
  5. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button andiTuneswill display the recovery mode message:

If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
You will lose all your data though...
