Question about Samsung 460PXn Monitor
I have this monitor and would like to run schedules. I have installed the MagicNet Software onto the monitor to eliminate the cost of an additional PC. The software works fine. I have numerous graphs and report URL that I am displaying on the screen, as soon as I schedule my Report Page which is a URL page the Monitor hangs. I managed to find out that this page uses alot of Virtual Memory, and since you can add a Flash Disk to the monitor and then increase the Virtual Memory it should not be a problem, but, I cannot get the Virtual Memory to work on a flash disk, any ideas?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Try a little backtracking....Check all internal connections. Make sure you didn't leave any insulator out allowing pc contact to case where it should not be. Make sure no wiring is pinched under screw or pc card causing a short to case.

If you know how to open it up and get to the power supply you will find three capacitors 2-820uf and 1-330 @ 25vdc 105o.they will have puffed up tops replace them. FYI the monitor has a 3 year warranty.

jcacolice, Most likely your 931c will need work done on it. When strange things start to occur with any LCD CCFL backlit display I would suspect the "switch-mode-power-supply" first thing!!! If unit is out of warranty you or someone will need to inspect and troubleshoot it. A good place to start will be to see some DIY videos on YOUTUBE. Try search of "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" and learn all you can about the TOP CAUSES of monitor failure. Then visit (FYI) www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm and www.badcaps.net for more info. Explore ALL your options before you do anything. Then get back to us here at fixya if you still need some asssistance. Read some of my other responses in my fixya profile and other those of other tech's on fixya.
Hope to see you back on fixya with a plan of action!! 12fixlouie

They are referring to the video card in your COMPUTER, not the monitor. There is a supported list of cards at http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitors/magictune/magicrotation_06s.htm
