hmm..well..this is an example of a clear misunderstanding of what the TFT means..

  • A Womans Computer Man
    A Womans Computer Man Oct 27, 2008

well..that may be a solution..but I can attest that when there is a simple conflict at that device level, then you will see that reformting the system, and installing windows, is much like doing eye surgery for a wart on your hand.

sheesh..I have referred this one to abuse, so they can see what transpired..

well..then, your rating is inaccurate for this solution. there are steps, as you most likely know, in this
process. perhaps you would review my CV, which is listed in my profile, under repair listings..

well..lets just say that when an expert like you or me, opens up this sort of can of worms, and hits another expert
with an InAppropriate, there are a few measures that need to be taken. I am exercising my right to remove InApps when I believe them to be inaccurate..So, I have posted your response to the larger community of experts, in
an open forum. We will see what the community says about this dialogue..

welcome to the crowdsourcing review process, amigo. This is a demonstration of how the community will
decide, among experts, how appropriate a rating is or is not. Maybe you will consider this in your future posting
    to another expert.

Cannot play sounds

are there any error message whenever you play an audio or video? solution if ther eis a problem with drivers is just reinstalling it again. if there is an error try checking the status of the audio driver if there is a yellow making on its icon then that means that you just need to reinstall the driver. how to check the drivers? that is if you are using xp simply go to start > right click on my computer select properties > click on the hardware tab and click on device manager. from the list just look for the audio or sound controller expand it by pressing the + button and check if there is a yellow marking on its icon. for vista or windows 7 simply type the word "device" from the seach box when you press start and look for the "device manager" from the results above. if you found the driver status ok then just double check the physical connection. if its a desktop make sure the speaker is connected on a green port at the back of the tower same thing with laptops. double check also if the sound is just on mute. right click the sound icon near the clock on the bottom right corner and unmute it from there. other than that make sure no headset connected if you are expecting sounds coming out from a connected speaker. hope that helps :-)

How can i get my dell optilex 360 sound drivers

right click "my computer" and select "properties" then click on "Hardware", Inside the hardware, select "Device Manager"
Inside the Device Manager, see whether there is a yellow Question mark before the start of any name, If there it will be the driver which either not there or not updated. Right click that driver and the first option will be update Driver. Select it and it will ask you to update automatically, select it and it will search on the internet for the best available driver for your hardware. If there was more yellow Question marks with the items in the Device MAnager, then repeat the same process with all. If ther was no Yellow Question mark, then select "Sound, video and game controllers" and select for the option of sound it in and right click it, and select uninstall driver. Once uninstalled then Inside the control panel, select add new hardware. and follow the steps which come in your way. If no yellow question mark, then once the Device Manager is opened, right click the first thing written inside the box, and the option will come " scan for hardware changes" click it, and u may find something like , Found new Hardeware, and it will start seraching for the drivers automatically using the internet
