Epson C67 Printer

Hi, I have an Epson C67 Printer and the status monitor tells me "Parts inside your printer are near the end of their service life. See your printer documentation."

Well generally the printer is always service-able, and parts that has reached the end of life are sometimes cheap, but OEM parts may be a little expensive.

here is a documentation for c67

Your printer needs to be reset, you need a software resetter, you can use SSC utility. But you must clean first the waste pad inside the printer or the best thing there is to move the waste hose outside the printer. There is a waste hose that is going through the waste pad then instead of letting it throwing ink on the waste pad, change the direction of the hose, point it outside the printer and put external vessel or tank where to dump ink.

C67 documentation does not cover parts nearing end of life

Reseat your printer counter to zero. Its a third party utility program.
In web browser search bar key in " epson reset software", The uppermost link. There's already tutorial in it.

Service required error

Make those arragemnets, it needs its waste ink pads replaced and ink clean counter reset via Epson Service software (Eagle)

If you just rest counter you are likely to have ink running loose into printer, there are 8 seperate ink pads in these none of them easy to replace, machine need to be fully stripped to do so.

These macnes count how many cleans they do and stop when figure that epson estimate ink pads are full is reached. It is more ecomical to replace inkjets than to fix, buy a new one with gen inks warranty for same price as repair bill.
