Sony I Link Camcorder Underwater housing

I have an underwater housing that I used with a Sony TR 81 Hi8 Camcorder that has quit working and are no longer available. The cable from the remote controls on the housing pluged into the camcorder. Do you know of any current camcorders that still have the I Link connection. It looked like a headphone jack size connection not the current firewire type. The housing and the camcorder were purchased in the mid 90's.
