I bought a Sanyo CE28WN7-B television in the UK and brought it to Mongolia. It worked fine in the UK. But, in Mongolia, it had a very poor reception (poor picture with normal sound) with an aerial. Recently, it has been connected to a cable TV service, which improved the picture quality to normal, but NO SOUND. Could you tell me how to solve this problem? Please find the TV specifications below:

Television system: System I
Colour system: PAL/NTSC4.43 (PAL/NTSC4.43/NTSC3.58 in AV mode)

I Bought a New Sylvania SDTV and hooked up my stereo just as the tv manual said ......It doesn't work it worked on my older Magnavox I've went to AUDIO SETUPS on both remotes what can it be????

Go into the TV Menu and access the sound settings, for the UK it would normally be set to I. This MAY need to be changed to a different setting. Try the options that are listed. Might fix it!!

Mongolia Broadcasts on SECAM-D Standard. So you have to go into the SETUP MENU of your TV and select SECAM in the SYSTEM Options.
In sound select 'D'. UK broadcasts in PAL - I.
It is a simple matter of resetting the TV.
