Well I do not know, but I have similar problem. I can see pictures I downloaded to many folders and I could see the first mp3 set of files(about 254 of them). But when I added more mp3 it tells me "No media on file". If I hook up to my PC it sees everything just fine,I can move add and erase no problem, but sidekick doesn't see it
i know a way that will take the unlock off the phone however it also removes everything else too. i accidently took the battery out with the phone on trying to remove the memory card. it reset the phone completely when i restarted it. i had had a privacy lock on it and that was gone too. kinda drastic if u do it make sure you save all your stuff on memory card and simcard.
When you take out your battery wih out shutting down it erases everything but only for about an hour everything does come back it does not erase it forever! Just to let everyone know! Of course if you have an option besides taking out the battery then use that but waiting for it to die is just silly and would take forever!
