Dear ...,

when switching on te laptop, does it make noises, does the fan run, the CD/DVD-drive
LED shows green light and the harddisk rattle little bit? - good for you if it does, as the system still boots up !

to check if the LCD screen is broke and not the graphics card malfunctioning:

hook it up to an external monitor (one usually used with desktop PCs)
when laptop is switched off, using the 3-pin input in the back or to the right side of your laptop, and make sure the external monitor's power cord is properly fused...

Now switch on the external monitor first and then your machine again, and wait for the laptop boot messages on the monitor!
see anything? if yes the laptop screen is broke and needs to be replaced.
If still the external monitor stays black the onboard graphics card is up in smoke and you're in big trouble then.

Good luck finding out!

Jonsnell electronic do you no about the blue line that comes and go down middle of screen pc

Probably a faulty screen, check by plugging in an external monitor. If the external monitor has no line, your screen needs replacing, if the line is still there and the line is not caused by a windows picture, the GPU is possibly in need of reballing or replacing.
Hope that helps.

Vertical line down screen

This problem can be caused by a lose connection between LCD and motherboard, however you can check it by opening the LCD or hinge bezel to ensure if there isn't any lose connection.

It started off as a green vertical line almost in the middle of the screen and now it turned green.

You could try to open the screen and laptop and re-seat all the cables that you could find. If it didn't go well then replace the LCD Screen.

No need, the screen is indeed dying and there is nothing that even the can do to save it.
You must replace it, and quickly, otherwise when it will finally fail completely it may fry the video chip.

Black screen with vertical lines through it

Could be faulty graphics chip or faulty screen. If you can hook up external monitor and picture is fine then probably faulty screen. If external monitor shows same problem the faulty graphics chip. Take to repair shop and let them have a look.

Thick Black Line on Screen

This is caused by dead pixel sensors. There are hundreds of pixel sensors at the edges of the screen, when they go out it will cause a line varying in size depending on the amount of sensors that go out, and the line can vary in color, red, blue, green, white, and black. Unfortunately, the only fix for this is to replace the screen.
