Question about Activision Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 Multimedia Controller
Okay, i'm using an old xbox 360 guitar hero 2 controller (x-plorer), so my problem could just be general wear & tear. but still, i'd like to try & fix it rather than have to come up with the cash for a new controller.
anyway, the guitar works fine except that the yellow button sticks for a couple seconds after i release it. so anytime there's a red, a green, or any non-yellow double or triple, after anything involving yellow, the game thinks i'm still holding the yellow key. it causes me to miss a lot of notes after yellows. a couple seconds later, the yellow button comes up & everything's fine... until i have to hit another yellow note.
sometimes if there's a yellow sustained note i'll intentionally let it go after hitting the actual note. i don't lose my streak, but i'm still losing points & playing the game in a way that it was not meant to be played. plus this doesn't solve the problem of fast soloes.
if there's an easy way to fix this problem, please let me know.

SOURCE: my guitar wont work properly
my scroll bar does the same thing sometimes, it moves up and down uncontrolably without me doing anything. i just recomend restarting and making sure the connections are all right. after i did that it seemed to work fine, but maybe if it keeps happening then you may need to replace it!!

try cleaning the sensors under the neck with a qtip and a little of alcohol. Then dry the alcohol with the dry end of the qtip. thar worked for me =)

The problem is the guitar. I am pretty sure you did not have the problem when you barely got your guitar. Its a wear and tear issue.

Did you sync your guitar and drums first? They are just like a normal xbox 360 wireless controller, you need to sync them.
