Keep getting message that my battery in low, also laptop goes dead if not connected to cherger.

atteries have a limited life and most need to be replaced every 12 to 24 months. If that amount of time has lapsed since you've replaced the battery, or if damage was done to the battery, such as a spill or overheating, the battery may be dead Unplug the laptop from the wall charger. Remove the battery from the laptop. The battery is located on the underside of the laptop and usually slides out, or can be popped out by sliding the battery release buttons next to the battery.2 Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol. Rub the cotton swab into the battery contacts to remove dirt and dust. Use a cloth dampened with water to wipe dust from the rest of the battery and battery housing unit. If dust is on the connectors, it can block or impede charging. Snap the battery back into place on the laptop.3 Plug the laptop wall charger into the wall. Plug the other end into the laptop. Allow the laptop to charge for 24 hours.4 Disconnect the laptop wall charger from the laptop. Turn the laptop on. If the laptop does not turn on, the battery did not charge, indicating the battery is dead. If the laptop turns on, but the battery lasts for a short period of time, this is a good indication that the battery is damaged or dying.

Acer laptop starts but the screen stays black and will not open

    Hello,

From the problem you have states, there are a lot of reasons why your computer screen might go blank, first of all, i will want to know if this has just happened and that your laptop is working perfectly before. If this is the situation, the most probably reason is due to a virus or a malicious program has infected your laptop system. So i recommend you scan your primary hard disc thoroughly with a good anti-virus, and you can do this in safe mode, how do you get to safe mode?

As you switch on your laptop, keep pressing the F8 key, you will see different mode you can start your laptop from, choose safe mode and press enter, when it finish loading, go to your hard disc, right click on it and scan with your anti-virus, and remove all the infected files, if this does not solve the problem,if the operating system have been badly infected and your files cannot be repaired, you might think of formatting your laptop or re-installing the operating system.

Others problem that might be the cause are

    1. A screen problem, you can plug your laptop to an external monitor and see if it will display, plug the monitor to the blue port with fifteen pin holes on your laptop

2, it might be VGA on board the is defective,if it is this you have to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs

3 It might even be the flex to the screen

4 It might be that the RAM is not properly seated

5It might even be a CMOS battery problem, which you need to change on the motherboard.

Please go through this troubleshooting techniques and find what is wrong with your laptop.

    Hope this helps

    Regards

Can't boot up my mac book air

hm, try leaving it on over night, sometimes if you turn your laptop of from the power or hold down the power button when allot of programs are running or if you get the program not responding thing happen this can mess up your laptop and will take ages to boot up,
or it might never boot again
so you will need to take the install cd/dvd that came with the laptop, insert it into your laptop, reset it again, then as u hear that sound apples make as you turn it on, hold down C untill it boots into the cd/dvd then go from there.
