From the problem you have states, there are a lot of reasons why your
computer screen might go blank, first of all, i will want to know if this has
just happened and that your laptop is working perfectly before. If this is the
situation, the most probably reason is due to a virus or a malicious program
has infected your laptop system. So i recommend you scan your primary hard disc
thoroughly with a good anti-virus, and you can do this in safe mode, how do you
get to safe mode?
As you switch on your laptop, keep pressing the F8 key, you will see
different mode you can start your laptop from, choose safe mode and press
enter, when it finish loading, go to your hard disc, right click on it and scan
with your anti-virus, and remove all the infected files, if this does not solve
the problem,if the operating system have been badly infected and your files
cannot be repaired, you might think of formatting your laptop or re-installing
the operating system.
Others problem that might be the cause are
1. A screen problem, you can plug your laptop to an external monitor and
see if it will display, plug the monitor to the blue port with fifteen pin holes
on your laptop
2, it might be VGA on board the is defective,if it is this you have to
send it back to the manufacturer for repairs
3 It might even be the flex to the screen
4 It might be that the RAM is not properly seated
5It might even be a CMOS battery problem, which you need to change on
Please go through this troubleshooting techniques and find what is wrong
with your laptop.
Hope this helps
