Question about Sony KP-65XBR10W 65" Rear Projection Television
When it is running it has blue lines running across it. After the set has been on for about 1/2 hour, it will flash and then shut off or go into stand by. We are trying to decide if it
is worth fixing. We are having trouble finding someone to come to the house to
fix it. And it is to heavy to haul into a shop. Can someone give me an idea of what it should cost to fix or is it worth it?
It sounds as though you have an bad blue CRT. Due to the age of the unit and the likely case that you also have weak green and red CRT's, based on the age, it would probably not be a good investment. Please be sure to rate my response if you found it helpful.
