Blurry spot A while ago I got a yellowish spot on the right side of the screen. The same area eventually started to become blurry. The spot has now grown to almost a quarter of the screen. What would cause this?

Depending on the age,as you did not mention, you could have a contamination inside the surface of the Picture tube in the liquid coolent or silicon spacer in between the crt and the lens assy. This will get worse with time and will happen most likly again on the other tubes unless you have a pro come out and replace the liquid and refill with fresh stuff. Its not a job for the unexpirenced person with TV sets. You may want to think about another set depending on the age of this set and the Estimate you get on this set. Good Luck

Blurry spot on bottom left of picture

It sound like you have some dust particles or a smudge spot on the CCD screen (actually on the low-pass filter in front of image chip). To leave an image on CCD, the dusts must be closer to the image plane to be registered so it should be somewhere closer to the screen or right on it. Take a look at the screen with "CCD Clean" mode and blow out any dust. If the smudge is on the screen, I recomend trained tech should clean it. good luck. I have a Casio EX 260, not the EX-S600

Ritz LIED. What u can try doing is resetting the camera.

Press menu
go to setup tab
go up one to reset
press right arrow, highlight reset
press set button in middle of arrows.

Also make sure you are only pressing shutter button half way down and allow time to focus before pressing rest of way down. Can also try changing focus mode from spot to multi. I believe that is under the rec tab in the menu. I think it is called AF AREA. Can't remember for sure.

Try that. If it doesn't work then you will have to send it into casio.
