Question about IBM ThinkPad T20 2647 Notebook
I have a Thinkpad T20 2647. Its starts fine, runs through the Windows 2000 load screen, but after, the scren goes black and no matter how long it sits there it wont advance. I've tried with and without the battery and it happens anyway. I can hear the fan working so I dont think its overheating. Any suggestions?
Same problem here, is there a solution? My T20 ran fine until today when after the XP load screen the screen goes black but the system loads well. With F8 and vga mode or safe mode the system loads with 640x480x8bit. In display properties/settings the monitor and adapter are detected well. Whitout any changes made in here as it shows 640x480x8bit when I press OK the screen goes blank.Any suggestions?

When u power up the system press F8 key untill u get safe mode menu.
then goo to enable vga mode set your resolution to 800*600 or 1024 * 768.
also u can try safe mode or last known good config.
