Ar 507 F2-37 How to fix?

19 years fixing and still at it. Do I clean the drum and sensor? Thanks guys and girls for your help. Regards, Rob

ID pattern reading error.  This time its in the optics section.  It should be looked at by a technician because there are timing adjustments that need to be done.  If they are not done correctly you will get very poor copy results.

    There actually is a measuring system that is used on the optics.  You could check on and get hold of a Sharp technician who might know if anything can be done on your end to fix it.

I have a Sharp AR-507. Error F2-00. How to fix?

It could also be the sponge roller in the toner hopper. The old ones started to deteriorate after a while so sharp modified them.

Sharp AR 507 has a code L3-00 Scanner will not retun home in time

It could be the Mirror Home Position Sensor malfunction, it's located at the upper left section of the upper frame, if the copy lamp is in its home position, there's a lever/part of the copy lamp that actuated this photo sensor. Try clean that tiny gap with a hand blower, if L3 still occur then you should change it.

Jams but only w/sheet feeder

Theres is a spring clutch in the adf that goes out. Once that is fixed it should work just fine.

An F2 code depending on the secondary code is related to the toner or drum.
