Question about Olympus VN-2100PC Digital Voice Recorder
I bought my Olympus VN-1000 about 5 years ago, without thinking at the time about how I might need to get the files I was recording on it OFF of it (so I could share them with other people, or store them for later use). It doesn't have an innate way to connect it to a computer, or a memory card.
I've had people tell me it's not possible, but I'm stubborn, and think there must be a way. I just bought a USB to audio adapter (I already had a mono audio cable to connect my dvr to the adapter), thinking that might help me to use the Olympus Digital Wave Player, but the application isn't finding my device...
PLEASE tell me - can you think of a way to get my recorded thoughts and interviews off of my dvr and on to my computer? Thanks!
You could get a cable to connect from the headphone socket to the line in/mic on your computer and record the files like any other external audio device. Not perfect but it will work...
