Dear sir/madam,
I would guess you have two problems.
ONE: Messed up color and/or convergence. A technician can reset these
easily by going into the service mode and using a test pattern to align
and balance the colors, etc.
TWO: You seem to have an intermittent problem which is causing the
jitters. Sometimes it is the degaussing coil that causes it. This
could happen if the degaussing relay got stuck ON somehow. If the coil
is driven by a relay or power transistor switch, then it could be
malfunctioning. It should not be an expensive repair, if that is what
it is. Other jitters can be caused by deflection and high voltage
problems.
also checks I would start by verifying your TV is plugged directly
into a wall plug
no extention cords and no surge protectors
If plugging into the wall stops the shutdowns then
go out and replace what ever cord you were using
otherwise you need a TV tech to look at the TV
the problem could be in many places in the TV
convergence IC may be failing
135 volt supply to the horizontal sweep could be low
almost any low voltage supply could have a cracked
solder connection causing random interruption
thanks
good luck
Your tv requires 2 ICs of STK392-110 in convergence board. Its available in Parts Shop.
I would recommend to get help of local tv repair person to replace above said component.

Hi,
Offhand, the only easy user action that could be suggested is to adjust the convergence. Convergence-Manual is an option when using the remote's TV menu. In some instances, you could also try the Auto option. The Reset option is useful if for some reason the alignment goes bad and need to start over. The number keys 2, 4, 6, and 8 act as direction keys to move the cursor to the point of adjustment on the grid. The Channel and Volume Arrow buttons align the grid at the point of the cursor. The SELECT button switches between the red and blue cursor. The OK button (try ENTER on some models/versions) saves your adjustment, otherwise you have to adjust it every time you power it ON.
All others require a fair familiarity of electronic components/circuitry and safety procedures, use of a DVM and a soldering iron. It would be to your added advantage access to a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings. Should you be uncomfortable performing a DIY (do-it-yourself), perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of a qualified professional.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
On the blue crt below the glass tube you will fine two metal tabs. By sliding the metal tabs (they move in a circular pattern) you can re-center the crt with a little experimentation. Then follow the convergence procedure to complete the repair. When you resiliconed the anode lead you may have moved the metal tabs from their previous position.
Reset your projector. settings to factory defaults.

How do I reset the projector?
My Panasonic Rear Projection TV PT53WX42F convergence is not working. The blue color is bended. I tried to adjust the convergence according to the user manual. It did not work at all. I tried to turn off the TV, and reset the projector, it did not work neither. Is there any one experience the problem? How can it be solved?
