Hi, ok remove the netgear and boot the system, then go in control panel and adjust the power options to always on. if the netgear device is pci try it in a diferent slot on the motherboard, and reboot. if you have not fixed it by now( i keep forgeting to look at the date of post) good luck@!

My mouse just stop working. Should I uninstall

a.Check the batteries if this is a cordless mouse.
If bad replace.
(I would replace anyway. Nice to have a spare set!)

b. If good then simply swap USB ports.
This will cause the operating system to sometimes wake up and function properly with the device.

Only un-install re-install as a last resort.
Most of the mouse hardware out there will work with the default settings.

Good luck!

A couple of weeks ago we heard a pop on the computer and then our Dell mouse doesn't work at all. it started to at first then stops. the led light goes off and it stops. we tried plugging in other usb...

A 'pop' is usually the sound or arcing (a small lightning bolt) meaning its a wonder you didn't lose more than the mouse; With the hardwire mouse circuit damaged you will have to buy and install a wireless mouse.

Netgear Wireless adapter

1. Windows not shutting down may be due to mouse incompatibility. e.g Toshiba with Logitech Mouse. Microsoft mouse works better with Toshiba in my view.

2. Set modem to NAT mode, ensure pass phrase upper and lower case preserved on your wireless machine (case sensitive).

3. Transfer WEP or WPA-PSK[TPIK] pass phrase to your Netgear Wizard as a Hex Key (Key 1).

Logitech V220 Mouse stopped working

Hi,

First of all, make sure you test the new mouse in a different USB-port then the old one, this can sometimes force windows to "reinitialize" communications with the mouse.

If this does not work try something of the following:

If you have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:

1)Remove it. *
2)Install it again

If you don't have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:
1)Install it.

No power to keyboard or mouse

this sound like an IRQ resource conflict, you may need to use another kind of PCI adapter.

you may either refer to netgear's tech support for recommendations of which device will best work for your machine.

Netgear DGB111G Starter Kit

Path #1:
Change all of you cordless phones to another frequency (Other than 2.4 Ghz).
Path #2:
If the netgear is in the same room as you, couldn't you plug in directly an ethernet cable into the netgear? You could buy an ethernet cable at any computer stores around and they go up to 30 feet. And no CD installation would be needed, it should just work with a wire to another wire.

Netgear WG111v3 blocks access to epson RX500 USB printer

First uninstall the netgear adapter from the memory of the computer completely...
Because in case of this netgear adapter WG111 ... when u install it , it makes changes in the system files ...
That;s why when u connect the printer it doesnot recognise that ...
that's why uninstall the netgear adapter software in the Add remove programs and then restart your computer..

Try this and then revert back to me...
