Question about HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printing on both sides

I have an HP 1610v all in one.  I used to be able to have the "print on both sides option" when I used a PC.  Now I have a macbook, and the "print on both option" is on the menu, but does not give me the option to choose it.  I've repeatedly try to update drivers to no avail.  Frustrated!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Check the printer setup and configuration to make sure the duplex option shows up as installed. If not, install / add the option from the option list, and this should return the duplex option to availability. If it doesn't show up in the option list, then the computer is not recognizing it as being installed in the printer, and we will have to look further as to why.

HP Officejet 4315 All-in-one I am a Mac user and I cannot do duplex printing or two sided printing

Mac uses a generic driver for all printers. have you verified that duplex printing is check under the printer options?

System Prefs -> Print & Fax -> select the printer, Options and supplies -> driver.

NOTE: if it says print using "Generic postscript driver" you will need to install the manufacturer driver for the printer to get the option to turn on the duplex printing.

I cant stop my printer printing both sides of the paper

After you attach the two-sided printing accessory (duplexer) to your product, you do not have the option to print on both sides of the paper when you try to print. The two-sided printing option is not available in the print dialog box.
NOTE: The HP Automatic Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer) ships with some printer models and is available as an optional accessory for others. Solution First, choose your operating system. Does the hp psc 750 do double sided printing

I have not used that specific printer, but from all I can determine, it is not a duplex printer. However hp offers these suggestions on how to determing if your printer is duplex: <br /> "To find out if your printer supports duplex printing, refer to your printer manual or look for the <b>Two-sided (Duplex printing)</b> or <b>Print on both sides</b> drop-down menu in the <b>Printer Properties</b> dialog box on your PC (sometimes found in the <b>Printer Shortcuts</b> tab).<br /> If you can
