Picture My set has lost the sides of it's picture. I did the hard reset (leaving it unplugged for at least four hours) This worked once. Any suggestions on how I might fix it ?

Sounds like you have a power regulator problem, a horizontal width problwm or a pincussion problem.. Im betting on the power regulator IC as i have seen it a hundred times.. This should only be repaired by a quilified technician and should run you in the area of 150 to 200 bucks if this is the only problem Good Luck

You can try a hard reset with this model. It requires unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for at least four hours. There are numerous set codes for this model, but it all depends upon the problem you are experiencing. There is no singular "reset button," though, as the system was simply too complex in its day to warrant one.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.
