In a consumer cycle, the appliance is indicating F8 E1 (slow/no draining). This is because of wrong signals from the circulation pump read by the control board and interpreted as "water present", when there is no water. During draining (and in fact, there is no water), the failure occurs.
1. Check if drain hose is not closed/clogged
2. Drain pump faulty, harness or wiring faulty, control board faulty
3. If machine is equipped with OWl, issue might be caused by damaged or dirty OWl. Clean the sensor lenses then , if issue is not solved, replace OWI (optical water indicator).
see this possible causes: Water-heating cycle heat, wash, and rinse has the 3 cicle, principal problem is the heat cycle, when the water reach the level ( by heating water elements) test the heating elements , most ot the time fixing this .the problem is o.k Timer sincerely. God bless you
Hi Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due
to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that
the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is
present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and
drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump
completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller &
clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the
complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps...
Please post back for any further assistance. Daniel
Hi, Thanks for writing to Fixya.com. Is your drain hose stopped up with debris - have a double sink next to the dishwasher. You can plug both drains, one at a time with the water running in the sink while holding the other drain closed. Try it first and if it works, its free, otherwise you may find it's another issue like maybe a bad pump motor on the dishwasher. Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.
Dont know if you still have this problem, what I did was this - press the start button and keep going until you reach the number '2'. Leave it at '2' and in a couple of seconds it will start draining the rest of the water. Worked for me.
