It sounds like your focus/screen block, the flyback transformer, or maybe a CRT anode lead is leaking high voltage. This could be a serious problem, or could be a simple one. You should not attempt this repair unless you know all of the high voltage safety issues involved with this TV set. Good Luck

You need the convergence ICs replaced they are soldered in so its very technical , a repair shop will charge between $230 and $400 to replace them. you can try the autofocus or manual adjustments, but probably need the ICs and possibly a few resistors too.
(2)STK392-110 or kit # X480293 comes with 2 ICs and some resistors
