hold the record button, and power botton together to enter the device in reovery mode and then connect to computer. 16mb format file wil be shown therein. type sansa.fmt and disconnect from pc. it will get formatted itself and then try reloading music files. and dont forget to slide the lock button before the procedure stated here. it should work. beware of formattng if u dont want to lose ur data inside it. try to scan for virus and if not solved then format.
unfortunately, the voice recorder works only as voice recorder, it cannot play FM and record it at the same time. though you can play fm radio from another device and record it using your SanDisk mp3 player.
To transfer your recordings from your mp3 player, connect your device to your PC.
Open "My computer" from your PC and you'll there "your Sansa Player"
Double-click on "your Sansa Player", then open the "Music" folder, then, open "Recordings" folder.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Sounds like you have two problems here. First my guess is your files bought from walmart are corrupted some how. just delete the ones that are giving you fits and call it a day. Second you mentioned it wont even sync music,,,, Are you saying none of your music or just the walmart ones ?
