Question about Samsung SCX 4521F All-In-One Laser Printer

1 Answer

Printing My mac tells me that the job has been completed by the printer and even the printer displays 'printing' for a second, but nothing prints. I have paper, when it scans, it will print so it's not the cartridge either.

Most of the time you just have to reset the printer, unplug the power cord and count until 30, plug back in. Hope it will work for you.

is this a MAC? If so try this -
Delete and re-add the printer in the print queue:

- Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
- Select the printer in question and click the minus sign at the bottom of the list
- Select the plus sign to re-add it. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.

If this does not work, do the same thing, only instead of the second step, right (control) click the print queue area and select Reset Printing System

7310 wont print

u have to clear the sent job, go to printers and faxes through your start menu, if u cant find it there, go to control panel, double click on the printer and faxes icon, on the pop up window, double click to open the printer then select all the jobs and empty the box, then you can start using again, make sure the printer is off while doing that.

Ok, you may want to consider re-installing the printer driver or in any case download updated printer drivers. Just don't forget to reboot after installing:)

disconnect this printer from your gigabit switch and try running it by itself. this printer should have its own on board memory. you may have uncompatible memories.

Can not print

There aren't any Mac drivers for this printer. I think you are out of luck. I know that some newer Lexmark printers do have Mac drivers (like X5470, or the X4550), you might try and dump this one on a Windows friend and buy something else.

Maybe you already tried this, but I think is worth asking: Is your printer installed on the right port ? Is your print queue empty ? Are you using the latest HP drivers ?

your mac should tell you what do to. But go to where your printer is listed, OR delete your printer, then re-install. go through the motions.
