For some reason, this was posted in the car audio section. You should repost in a section that is related to computers.

There is software that can recover lost files if they haven't been over-written.

Do not add any more files to the card. If you add more files, it will likely prevent recovering the lost files.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

check if it has a battery for memory, like the pcs, or a wire connectivity which the memory is depending on to operate in such method.

How will I no if my amp is blown

Its quite simple, remove the fuse, and look in the middle, you should a medal "strand-or bar" connecting from end to end. If it is missing or blown your fuse is bad.

Storing memory on the sony xplode stereo

Make sure the yellow 12V Constant is connected to a wire with a direct connection to the battery. This retains your memory.

Error code 13 on my car stereo

I visited VR-3.com and found the following in the manual: Problem: MP3/WMA Files on the USB/SD flash memory do
not play.
Answer: Flash memory is formatted as NTSC.
Format the flash memory as FAT or FAT32.
The files have Digital Rights Management(DRM).
If the files you are attempting to play were
purchased online, they may have Digital Rights
Management, this unit is not DRM compatible.

You may want to call VR3 at (800) 445-1797 and inquire about that specific code just in case though the answer above was not given as "error 13" I just made an educated guess based on the problem given.

Falty Amplifier?

It sounds like the output transistors have shorted. This is VERY common. If you want to try to troubleshoot the problem, I'd need to see photos of the inside of the amp. You'll need a multimeter to check the transistors.

Before opening the amp, remove it from the power source.

Since the resolution is severely limited here, send the photos to me directly (babin_perry@yahoo.com). If you're going to send multiple photos, please zip them and send one file.

Hi Theaternut,

Best guess is that your source button or whichever button changes from cd, to Tuner, to usb, to Card, is shorted, and needs cleaning.  Its like the button is always pushed.

see if you can carefully dsiassembly the reciever to get to the circuit board behind the button I speak of, and clean it.
