Question about iLO 2600 Television

1 Answer

COLOR BLEEDING After my ILO 2600 HDTV has been on for about an hour, the color saturation increases to the point the colors bleed profusely and the entire picture becomes blobby. The tv has worked fine for about 7 months now, and still works fine when it's turned on. Problem only occurs after about an hour or so after being left on. Ideas?

Thats A 26" LCD tv sets thats sold mostly by walley world. The problem you describe is most likly the sustain voltage on the LCD screen has a bad capacitor in the power supply circuit that supplies that voltage to the driver board. If you still have a warranty Take it in or hopefully you bought an extended warranty with the set. Good Luck.

You would need a converter to make it work. Adapters won't work as the type of signal would need to be changes. Your best bet would be to purchase a DVD player that has outputs that work with the tv. Sorry.

I have a 42 in lcd insignia and there is red haziness where there should be black. Is there anyway to fix this?

try to bring color down and see if you see it then, determine if it's from bleeding color also check to see where the brightness is.

When we watch our insignia television anything red in color looks as if it is jumping or quivering...why is this?

This sounds like you are using a composite, S-Video, or RF cable input.

The quality of these inputs are not as capable as component or HDMI, so colors are not separated as well. Red is a color that saturates heavily and will cause bleed as well as dithering...especially intense colors (bright green, bright blue, bright yellow, bright red).

To reduce this visual annoyance you would need to soften the video output from the player (not easy to accomplish), or upgrade to a better cable connection.

Hope this helps!

LG 32LF11 HDTV is haveing blurring issues, meaning that in some instances ( like digital art ) colors blend together or i should say bleed together, like if i take a red background and put a black line...

I have a similar issue with Samsung LN46N610. Red (and green to a lesser extent) text or graphics on light background creates something like a shadow or blurred edge. My PC is connected to HDTV via HDMI cable. I don't have this issue when I use Toshiba 46XV645U (Toshiba a different audio problem though) HDTV

The color went to reds and greens and I can't figure out what happened...

Be sure to match up each signal to the same /component connectors/ on the TV,otherwise the colors will not appear correctly on your TV.

Color is messed up on 42" ILO LG HD

I own a 26inch, I may not see a Green and Red option but if you have the remote you can select TV MENU; from there you can use the down arrow to the bottom portion and you can also choose to do a factory reset if that helps. Otherwise at the top part theres a way to customize all; brightness, saturation, etc under picture choose Custom
