Insert the installer cd to your cd/dvd drive then go to bios settings and then choose your cd/dvd to first boot then exit and save. your pc should restart and may give the message "press any key to boot from cd" just press the space bar and your installation process should start. just read and follow instructions.

BSNL net connects but after some time svchost.exe error occurs

Hi,

The problem is with the Windows operating system. Either the OS is infected by a virus or it is corrupt.

The best and effective thing I can suggest you is to reinstall the Operating system on the computer. Please scan your computer once you have reinstalled the OS using a good antivirus.

Hope this helps.

Stop:0x0000007B tried to boot in all modes..we go to blue screen with stop: cannot get a command prompt either

Issue : Blue screen with Error0x0000007B
Solution
I recognize the importance of resolving this issue and I look forward in providing you with the necessary assistance you need.

The above error comes if the boot volume is corrupted and cannot be initiated by Windows XP. or You are installing Windows XP on a mirrored boot partition that was created by Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.

To completely resolve your issue i think you have to reinstall the OS.
Have to format the Hard drive

requirement
the OS - XP Home / Premium Installation CD

Disk formatting is the initial part of the process for preparing a hard disk or other storage medium for its first use. The disk formatting includes setting up an empty file system. A disk formatting may setup multiple file systems by formatting partitions for each file system.

Windows not booting

Hello,

Regarding on your problem, the main issue their is the booting problem of XP after you delete the fedora operating system. That's common problem especially when the computer are in dual boot OS then you delete the other OS. Now, the reason why it usually fall into this problem its just because the XP is your core OS then you install Linux Fedora inside in XP so whatever changes you have done in fedora particularly deleting Linux OS inside XP affects the overall performance of your XP and eventually if you delete the Fedora without proper unistallation process done by Linux OS then the Boot Loader of your XP will also corrupt or delete that's the main cause of boot failure in your XP OS. Now the best solution there is to repair your XP by inserting the XP CD Installer and boot the CD to repair your OS or you can reinstall the XP OS without formatting the storage to prevent the lost of your data that has not yet already copyed a back up.

Please do this recommendation to save and restore your XP.

thanks

You may have to activate windows first, even though this is a reinstall..Don't ask me why they're not the same process... See link here, and here. This link may help., and possibly this one.\
Here's an MS explanation of the whole process, with a support link you can use if you're still having problems.

Hibernation partition

What OS? xp? 98?
Have you tried loading last known good configuration?
What is the "whole process"?
Please report the exact error message you are getting, along with any stop error codes, and describe in a little more detail what's bringing it on, whether it's freezing up, etc.
If you're using xp, take a look at the event viewer logs to see what kind of errors or warnings are reported.
In the meantime, please take a look at MS KB articles here, here, here, here, here, and possibly here to see if they apply to your situation.
Try disabling hibernation, rebooting, then restarting. (control panel>power options)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Unable to reinstall windows xp

try it again with the bootable floppy disk... if you have the option use fdisk /mbr and then format the computer and reinstall using the cd you have. the fdisk /mbr command will get rid of any virus residing in your master boot record.

How to install XP in toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 laptop

You cannot uninstall Windows Vista, but you can reinstall your previous operating system, which then replaces Windows Vista. To reinstall your old operating system, you must have the original installation disc. Back up your programs and files, insert the installation disc into your computer, and then reinstall the old operating system. To regain the hard disk space used by Windows Vista, reformat the disk during the reinstallation process. After reinstalling your previous operating system, reinstall your programs and files.
