Lost manual and can't remember how to delete pictures from camera

Can you please give me a step by step guide on how to delete pictures from a Vivitar 3740 camera. I have mislaid my user manual - thanks

How do I delete unclear pictures on my Vivitar DVR 810HD Video/Camera?


You can delete the last photo taken following these steps.
  1. Press the Right/Delete joystick button.
  2. A Delete message appears on the LCD
  3. Use the Right/Left joystick button to select either "Yes" or "No".
  4. Press the OK button to confirm and save your choice and revert to the camera mode.
If you need to delete pictures otherwise, you'll have to do so on your computer.

I hit format and lost all my pictures how can i


Formatting a memory card wipes out everything on it, preparing it for fresh use. If you haven't done anything with the memory card since then, you may be able to recover the files on it. Do a Google search for "file recovery program" and specify the operating system you're using on your computer.

I have a book. I can scan it and send it to you if you are interested. I love this camera more than my other digital. OK

Instructions to reset the photo count on the camera is basically deleting what pics are still there.

Step 1: On top of the camera is a mode button, push the button and the word All will appear.

Step 2: Press the select button until you hear 2 beeps.

Step 3: The camera will delete all pictures and the pictures and the picture counter will refresh to "0".

To Delete the last picture.

Step 1: Press mode select to LSE

Step 2: Press select until you hear 2 beeps.

The camera will delete last picture and the picture counter will show result.
