1. Charge it 4-7hrs 2. When ready, it must be light up either Green or Red when you PRESS IN on the Up/Dn Volume button 3. Press and hold the Answer button (on microphone boom) for 2-3secs, then Push IN and UP on the Up/Down Vol button'Light should flash Red/Green/Red/Green..... 4. Go to Phone, Enable Bluetoth and tell it to FIND new adapter/Devices 5. When it 'finds' M2500, punch in 4-zeroes (0000) and hit enter/Dial and it should connect 6. When connected, the 2500 will flash BLUE Thats it! If it will not charge up (light either RED or Green) the charger is bad, or the M2500 Battery is gone. I opened mine up and will (!) replace it eventually, but it is consisted of 2 tiny batteries, about 1/4 as long and same diameter as a AAA connected together. They measure 1.3v each, but I think this is SUPPOSED to measure 2.4v. T Open, you have to use force and pry it apart starting at the charger socket end. Go slow and it wont break.

My m2500 headset keeps hanging up during use. How do I fix ?

If the battery voltage drops, the call will disconnect. Try charging the headset to full charge, and see if that fixes the problem.

Be aware that the NiMh batteries in your M2500 may be at end-of-life, and won't hold a charge as they should. If so, it's time to go shopping, or else, time to start soldering!

No instructions to use bluetooth headset

first see if your phone finds the headset, if it prompts for a passkey enter 00000, the phone may also want to pair the two devices, press the botton on the headset for two seconds or longer until it flashes at the same time press ok on your phone to start the pairing process, when this is done activate the bluetooth on your phone, goto settings turn bluetooth on and make sure your phone is on for "make this device discoverable". good luck

1.Turn on both devices (phone and headset)
2. Place the headset in pairing mode by holding the Call Control button (by the mic) down while rotating the Multi-Function Dial upward. Release the buttons when the Status Indicator begins to flash red then green.

Here is a guide to pairing phones (use voyager 510, it is similar). The main thing is to put the headset into discovery mode. http://www.plantronics.com/media/media_resources/easytopair/

Getting it to work

Pairing This was the second Bluetooth device I?ve used, and I had the headset paired in under 60 seconds once I had deciphered the instructions in the manual. When you press the call control and multifunction control buttons on the headset simultaneously, the M2500 goes into pairing mode. The standard way to get the Treo to pair is to click on the Bluetooth icon and basically follow the prompts: Turn Bluetooth on, make the device ?discoverable,? click on ?set up devices? and then ?Handsfree setup,? and the Treo will find the Plantronics headset. Once you?ve set up one Bluetooth device, you?re a pro. The only thing you need to know is the combination of buttons that puts a device into pairing mode. However, with the Plantronics M2500, I discovered an even easier method. Simply power up the Bluetooth headset while the Treo is on and you will be immediately prompted for the passcode, four zeros, if the devices are not paired. How cool is that? It saves many steps.
