Question about Kenmore 63012 Electric Dryer
How do I get to heating element to see if that is the problem? Is the element easy to replace if this is the problem. Checked breakers did not solve the issue. What else could it be and would it be advisable to get a tech here instead of doing it ourself?
No,you can do this yourself, remove the back panel, you will see the heater box,at the top you have the heater box fuse, next one down is the thermostat, and under that is the 2 terminal that go to the hearter,if you have a omhs meter you can check everything out,it might only be the fuse at the top of the heater box whick cost $2.00 at your local appliance parts store, please let me know how you make out and if i can help somemore-mike
