Question about T-Mobile Sidekick® 3 Cellular Phone
Whats up as the title says, the sidekick lx was dropped in the toilet. Its my cousin phones and hes giving it to me for free, it happened like a week ago or so. He said it used to turn on not any more, so i thinks it all shorted out. Anyone way to repair this, i dont have insurance or probably warranty, if i was to send tmobile the phone how much would they charge and would i get a new/refurb/repaired phone? thanks
You'll have to either open it and clean out the waterdamage or replace the logic board. If you can't get a replacement under warranty there is both an T-Mobile G1 Repair Guide and a third party T-Mobile G1 Repair Service, If you try a self-repair make sure you feel comfortable with opening devices like that.

Goto ebay and see what a replacement one would cost you. If you don't have insurance on one with T-mobile your only option is to replace it at their prices.
Everyone who has a Sidekick should have insure because it is very expensive to replace them. The deductible is the cheapest way to get them replaced.
