Question about Canon Cameras
Try inserting and removing the A/V cable plug a few times (that TV cable that came with the camera that hardly anyone uses). There's a little contact switch inside that turns off the screen when the cable is inserted. Sometimes the switch can become a little dirty with corrosion and can turn off the screen. Inserting and removing the cable plug a few times can sometimes clean the contact switch. Good luck!
