the batteries may need replacement. 2 aaa size ni-mh 560 mah 1.2 v are required. or the charger may be defective. If the charging light or the battery bars show up in display when placed in the cradle, the charger may not be defective.

Can you help me with the battery for rq-sx35 cassette player

the batterys is known as a gum stick battery and can be found on ebay for a few quid,

Now you may find the voltage is about 1.2v and about 500/700mah

1.2v = the voltage and you must stick to this, Mah is how many hours the battery will last and now you will probably fine them in excess of 1000mah this also not an issue

The issue you may have is ni-cd or Ni-mh - if you have a ni-cd these are much harder to get, mainly from china on ebay for about £3 item 361298337890 or nicd from china is 400856146442 at £2.20 but will take a month to arrive

i do not know these sellers . so please view feedback of these sellers before buying

If its Ni-Mh you should be fine to swap it out, however a higher Mah will take longer to charge in the supplied charger but will last longer in use.

I cannot be certain if its safe to charge a ni-mh in a ni-cd only charger - if you can it will take a long time, and i cannot say how safe it would be.

a work around would be to purchase a desktop ni-mh charger for about £8 thats take all size battery's from aaa - d size as gum stick battery will fit inside the spring clips, but you must take great care on + and - poles and is the correct type and voltage its just a flat shape instead of round, but if u do go down this way by a standard charger not a superfast 1 or 2 hours as it just heats the battery's up too much

hope this helps

Can i use a rechargable battery which is rated 750 mAh(1.2v) if the one in the phone is 850 mAh (1.2 v)?

No it would not be advised to go for a lower mAh as your phone would not perform as eficiently and also too I would recommend to replace it with same as qriginal 1.2 v -Ni-MH battery . And you can get any battery from Amazon .Com at avery good price, that is my go to place if I want something specific.

My Vivitar DVR-310 won't turn on anymore

Most obvious are the batteries. You are supposed to use two AA Alkaline / Ni-MH batteries. The best choice are the Ni-MH rechargeable ones, because you can record twice as long as with the expensive alkaline batteries. When the alkaline batteries are empty, you have to trow them away.
But Ni-MH batteries don't live forever. Typical they should survive 1000 charge discharge cycles, but when "misused" they can be bad before you reached that.
Please also check the contacts. Both, on the batteries and in the camera, where the batteries go, if these contacts are all clean and shiny. And at last, make sure you did put in the batteries the correct way. Turned around the camera won't work at all.
If you got the camera brand new, you should know there are no batteries delivered with the camera.

My Kodak Easyshare Z1275 has short battery life. sometimes even newly charged 2600 MaH batteries cause problems. Powers up, lens extends, opens screen to set time and date then powers down. Sometimes i can...

wait, do you have Li Ion batteries or Ni MH?

I think that Kodak recommends Li Ion batteries which have a higher voltage on them.

I got some generic Li ion battery packs off of Amazon.com, with better specs. than Kodak, and they work fine for my Easyshare z1485 IS camera.

It cost me like $80 to get the charger and two battery packs that are Li Ion, but it's worth it.

My battery packs are rated at 2000 mAh 3.7 Volts each. It's the voltage that counts. You see, if you would split that in half, the voltage for each AA battery is 1.85V which is much higher than the 1.5V that regular Alkaline or Ni MH batteries are rated at.

I tried Alkalines, and Ni MH to no avail. But, the Li Ion batteries, did the trick for me.

Good luck on this 'repair' or battery upgrade.

This is not specific to your camera, just general advice. I think that Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended for most digital cameras. However, you should be able to use normal alkaline batteries too.

For the speakerphone switching phone off problem, substitute the 630 mAh Ni-MH battery that comes with the phone with a better Ni-Mh battery of higher mAh such as Duracell or better yet eneloop.

Cannot power on to take photos

I found that one has to use their batteries of at least 2100mAh and NI-MH. I recharged my batteries removed the new ordinary alkaline batteries I had put in and BINGO IT WORKED. Just to prove the point I put in another set of Alkaline batteries No good. It must be that NI-MH Batteries rated at 2100mAH have more power (or one can draw more currentat start up) a battery guru could maybe veryify my conclusions. Anyhow try NI-MH batteries and see how you go. Best of luck fredlich

Sony DSC-P93 battery replacement question

NiMH batteries. You can use the larger mAh AA. It has more capacity and should give you longer service before needing recharge. The battery manufacturers recommend that you do not mix the batteries. i.e. don't use mAh 2100 and mAh 2500 as one set, use all 2100 or all 2500 as one set.
