Perhaps the Lexmark P707 User's Guide will be able to help you. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9Rw4RC. Scroll to Replacing the print cartridges, Page 43, for instructions on how to install/replace the cartridges.
In some cases, the ink cartridge carrier won't position itself in the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the white tape in the middle inside the printer. The other end of it is connected to the carrier. Gently slide the carrier to the center. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source. Hope this helps.

Go to http://www.lexmark.com Click Drivers and Downloads Click Driver Finder Where it says "search by model," start typing in the model of your printer. When
the right thing pops up, click on it. It will ask you your operating
system. Pick the operating system and you'll get the right driver.
This is a photo printer. My regular printer will not print photos and if I am correct photo printers will not print regular documents. They are made for separate document types (ex. doc and jpeg). This is so the corporate winners can steal more money from the consumer. I am sure there are printers out there that do both, but your printer is specifically a photo printer. Ask a tech at Best Buy or Circuit City. Let me know what they say.
