SOURCE: cable connector broken
You can buy replacement antenna jacks for this. What you have to do is remove the tuner and it's shields, then unsolder the little tab off the board of the tuner which is what remains when they break off. Then you can resolder the new jack in place and the center pin back to the board of the tuner.

There are 3 small rectangles that are on the right side of the flyback, they are micro fuses FL231 is the center one. I am not sure if radio shack has them, may have to order from RCA

This is a convergence problem that is either poor solder connections at the convergence ICs or defective ICs. These are largel black ICs attached to a heatsink that should be marked STKxxx. If you can solder, you can fix this yourself. Try resoldering the pins on the ICs. If that fails to resolve the problem, replace the ICs. It is possible that there will be additional components that require replacement as well. Please keep us posted on your progress. Also, since there are high voltages present even with the set unplugged, please be careful inside the set.
