Hi, Actually the camera is fine and the cause of problem is memory card, Mostly cheaper cards do this but the original cards don't. And as far as concern that you have lost many precious pics, No need to worry about it. Just install any recovery software on your PC and with the help of the software you can get back your pics, Secondly, shift all your pics on memory card in your PC and then format the card through camera, this will solve your problem.(Remember that run recovery software before you format the card if you need to get back your data from memory card) Thanks
It's possible the camera is in one of the manual modes with the flash turned off. With the camera turned on and in the picture taking mode press the function button and look at the bottom of the screen. press the right or left side of the ring to highlite the auto setting then press the function button again.
Whats your camera make / model?
I have found this problem in the past mainly on samsung cameras. All I found was bad connections and poor solder joints.
connection problems with ribbons mainly. Samsung seem to prefer tinned ends as opposed to gold plated ribbon connections and these are just waiting to discolour and then fail.
Bad connections will drain batteries very fast and especially if your using cheap ones
Turn the camera viewer on (on your finepix 3800, it is the middle position where you preview photos). Press the "menu" button and you will be presented with four options, and the top option is FORMAT. Select format and your card will be usable again. Two things to keep in mind. Any pictures on the card will be lost, and when you press the menu button as I described it may take a few seconds before those four options appear. As an FYI, the most common cause of the card needing to be reformatted is when the pictures are loaded to a MAC computer and the USB cable is pulled before you eject the camera.
the problem is with lens.this sometimes happens if cam becomes victim with water. there is some buzzing noise when the shutter of lens gets opened or closed. please clean the lens with the solution once.then you can make out of blurs.
