Question about EliteGroup P4VMM2 Motherboard

No mic i already installed the driver of my soundcard for p4vmm2 the sounds are good and clear but when i was trying to call using my pc my voice cant detect!!! i check my head set and my headset is good!!

Make sure the volume for the mix isn't muted. Also make sure the software you are using to make calls is set-up to the proper audio input. Make sure it's set to mic and not line-in or something else.

Also test using an audio recording program like audacity to test your mic.

Audio driver for windows 7


PC Chips haven't released an audio driver for Win7. However as they were using the Realtek driver the Win 7 driver from here MAY work.

open devices manager(in run type devmgmt.msc)in that right panel right click and select scan for hardware change and select search automatically finally it ask whether do u want to search in internet now click ok.

Have you tried the driver file from the vendor's site: http://tinyurl.com/7rlygw
scroll down to the audio driver and get the executable download and you should be good to go.

No mic detected


try to check the mic volume on the program that your using. look for the settings of it. like in YM there is a test for mic to configure the minimum and maximum level that fits and suited on your hearing sound.

Sound problem


Try to install the driver using different source of driver. Check your soundcard vendor website. Download the appropriate driver. Instal the driver.

No audio

Do you already install the SoundCard driver ?
If you already install the driver and your pc still have no sound, i suggest you to buy add on sound card.

Mic output sucks!!


hi, was the mic ok with ur older sound card, if yes then u need a mic with lesser impedance, have u adjusted the sound card recording properties??
