Question about Sony Computers & Internet
My daughter put away the laptop leaving the desktop screen on and without logging out. This morning I have been unable to start the computer.
Unplug all external devices. Remove the battery and ac adapter. Then try again with just the ac adapter and no battery. If it works, turn it off and put the battery back in. Everything should be fine.
What your daughter did is absolutely harmless, unless your laptop is set-up not to go to standby mode then eventually hibernate when the lid is closed. In that case if it was put into a laptop bag while running it may have overheated. If that's the case it may need a motherboard or CPU, have it checked out.
