Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Begfore calling a servicer, pull the bulb out and check if it is broken. The chirping you hear could be the ballast trying to fire the lamp. If it is blown, make sure you clean the vent filters when replacing it.

Have a sears technician come over ,call them and set up an appointment, they are the best techs out there for tv issues, they will come out even if you did not buy the tv from them. Most of the Sears tv techs come from Philips which closed down their tech shop a while back. It sounds like you have dirty or faulty fans on your board. please advice.

Could be quite a few things wrong. first I would do self test diagnosis and see what error you get, then check that area. It could be a bad Ballast or it could be Fuse F9a09 and the Light Engine. It also could be Caps C9a37 and C9a38. For additional info www.ctechnicians.com

Have you checked the lamps. Rear projection TV's have bright lamps, that can burn out. If you have had this TV for a while, that is the first thing I would check. If you still have to manual, it should tell you how to check the lamps and which ones you need to order.
These should be special lamps only Panasonic sells. Therefore they might cost a few bills.
