How to Make Sure You're Receiving Emails from FixYa

Your email provider likely uses a variety of filters to ensure that spam doesn't reach your inbox. Sometimes, however, your email provider might block emails that you want to receive, such as emails from FixYa.

To avoid any unwanted blockage of your FixYa emails, add welcome@fixya.com to your email address book or white list. Please follow the instructions below to do this on some common email providers.

For Gmail users:

1) Log in to http://www.gmail.com
2) Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page
3) Click "Create Contact"
4) For email, enter "welcome@fixya.com"
5) Click "Save"

For Hotmail and MSN users:

1) Log in to your Hotmail or MSN account
2) Click "Options"
3) On the left side of the page, click “Mail,” and then click “Junk Email Protection”
4) Click “Safe List”
5) Enter fixya.com into the field provided, then click “Add”

For Yahoo users:

For the older-style Yahoo mail:

1) Log in to http://mail.yahoo.com
2) Click the “Addresses” tab
3) In the “Quick Add Contact” section at the bottom, for Email enter welcome@fixya.com and then click the “Add” button

For the new Yahoo mail:
1) Log in to http://mail.yahoo.com
2) Click “Contacts” on the left-side menu
3) Click “Add Contact” at the top
4) For Email, enter welcome@fixya.com
5) Click the Save button at the top right

If you ever find a FixYa email in your Yahoo Bulk mail folder, open it and click the “Not Spam” button

A person that I work for is upset because she thinks I dont do enough and she said alot of hurtful things trying to make amends

Hi,
If your email account full unwanted email and you are not stop this email. And facing more problem, no issue i share supported link please visit and follow instruction.

First, try not to open any of them, that only makes them send more and more to you.
Check mark them and click on 'Spam,' this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more of it to you.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.
Added detail:
Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in
*@ abcd.com
for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*

Thanks.

Blocked emails

Yahoo! Mail can block all mail from up to 500 email addresses. All mail from these senders will be automatically deleted before you see it.Do not let the high number of potential addresses to block lure you into fighting spam with this, though. Spammers can use a fresh address (or domain) for just about every message.
Use the list of blocked senders for individual senders whose messages you don't want to receive but can't stop easily. Instead of deleting every incoming mail manually, you can have Yahoo! Mail do the job.

Is there a way I can block someone from emailing me if they keep bothering me?

here's a video in which you can follow: http://www.ehow.com/video_4991395_block-yahoo-email.html
or follow this steps:

1. Login to your Yahoo! Mail.

2. Go to the upper-right corner of the page and select Options. Click on Mail Options from the resulting menu.

The address will be blocked from putting mail in your inbox. If you change your mind, you can easily remove the block by going back to the Blocked Email Addresses, selecting the desired address from the list of addresses and clicking the Removebutton.

How can i stop my mails from entering boxbe

http://saunderslog.com/2008/04/22/boxbes… - I found a couple of unsubscribe and opt-out links for Boxbe on Google, but then I found the blog above and realized that none of those links seem to be working.

The Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) is supposed to help you eliminate spam mails. Suggestion: forward the boxbe spam to spam@uce.gov, in the subject line enter something like "unsubscribe link results in more spam", "unwanted spam message", "no unsubscribe link" or something similar.

Here's how to do the forwarding bit: click the crtl key and at the same time click the "forward" button to forward a message as an attachment, mac users should click the "apple" key and click "forward" simultaneously.

When the FTC gets your mail, they will look into the matter and when they find out who the spamming source is, they will take legal actions.

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/business… - link to the CAN-SPAM Act, consumer info at the bottom.

In the meantime try to block the boxbe address, here's how:

For New Mail
Go to options -> mail options -> spam -> type the unwanted email address under add a blocked address -> click add -> click "save changes".

For Mail Classic
Go to "mail options" in the top bar -> management -> block addresses -> under "add block" enter the email address you want to be blocked. Click "add block", click "yes" to set the block.

A few months ago i put a block on my mail and now i want to remove it but dont know how

On whichever particular email service (I have never done this) there would probably be a list of blocked addresses that you would look for, select that address and click to remove the block on that address and allow it again.

Can't delete addresses in my blocked address list

The problem was I had never used the email blocking facility before so after I deleted the list I immediately clicked on the return to mail button. I did this numerous times and every time I returned to the blocked list the addresses where still there, eventually I clicked on one of the other links in the side menu before returning to the mail page and guess what a prompt appeared asking me if I wanted to save the changes, then the penny dropped. You would think that the programmers would have had that one covered, but obviously the software testing was not up to scratch.
