I just bought a 1 Gb card of Sandisk & my cell (w 700i) is not storing any files in it. But my cell is detecting d card. If i transfer any file 4m phone memory 3 card memory after restarting d cell it gets disappears.

It is possible that you are using an SDHC card, and the 5250 might not be compatible with that type. It is also possible that the card is formatted in a way that is unreadable in the phone. Try putting the card into a laptop or desktop, formatting it, and try it again in the phone.

Yes my friend you will be able to store only 650 - 700 MB in it since its 1 GB memory card,And dont try to add additional file Because you may find these issues 1)Accessing speed will be less 2)Frequently hangs itself 3)Some applications wont open...Hope this is help ful for you
