Seems your laptop is not getting a ipaddress back from the router or dns server.. I would check your wireless settings, maybe reset the router, hold down the reset button for 30seconds try again. sometimething might be wrong in the wireing.

Limited access usually means you have full access to your network through your hotspot, but the hotspot is not connected to the internet or it cannot get a signal.

My netbook is connected and the signal strength is excellent but it won allow me to go to any websites

The signal strength is of the LAN modem. Only when the internet connection is provided to the LAN modem, you will be able to access internet on your notebook.

I can't get internet connection even though it says my connection strength is "excellent."

The netbook is working fine. The WiFi connection or SPID may require you to login as in it is a protected signal. The "Excellent" means that you are receiving an excellent signal from the router. What you want is internet access which is upstream of that. Try a different SPID or connection.

Internet access comes and goes

this is a simple problem with simple solutions. if your signal strength is low move router to an open location or wrap the antenna in foil. also try rebooting your router. also note that it is only logical for it to get weaker if you get further away from it. best of luck bud! hope this helps!

Toshiba equium A210-17i wireles problems

Hi,
It doesnt sound like a problem with you laptop, rather its most likely to be the router.
People can edit the settings so that only their IP adress can connect.
If you can connect with limited connectivity, again its the router, not connecting properly.
Can you connect to any router? i take it you're not connection to your own XD
