Re: water leak

Im assuming your leak is at the fill valve entering the washer. Each fill hose has a grommet much like a garden hose. Stop at your local hardware store and pick up some new grommets or replace the fill hoses with a new set. Good luck

I have a whirlpool duet sport washer that is leaking from the back. we just replaces a screw that hold sthe drive motor up bc it broke. it looks ike the water is dripping by there.

Possible that the tub is cracked or there is a dent which must be checked. if the leak, is visible and comes from the tub you can use some good sealer with glue to stop the leak. this can be polished off. You also try with silicon sealing which comes in small tubes and can fix this leak.

How do you clean a washer hose

If you mean the water supply hoses, usually the intake screen becomes plugged with debris from the house water supply. The screen is removable with a small screwdriver or other small tool. Sometimes it helps to just reverse the ends of the hose and place the washer end into a sink or bucket. There should be a screen on each washer entrance connection that can get plugged as well. Hope this helps!

Water leaks from door

hi there
i read your report. it 's your front seal, you need to replace that front seal. try this b4 you do make sure that they seal is all the around the edge good.
if you c a small area thats not
on all the way get you some crazy glue gently go under the seal to put the glue on that area and push it back and hold for 15 sec. that would buy you some time to so you can get a new one if you don't have the money for it right now. but you will have to replace it soon. thank you for writing to fix ya.

Water leaking in front of washer mainly from what seems to be the gasket around front of washer.

Either the rubber boot is damaged in some way, or the door is not locking tight enough. Thoroughly inspect the boot for tears or gouges in the rubber surface. Small imperfections can be repaired with silicon glue, but larger tears will require replacement of the boot--which can be done done through the door opening, but requires patience to do so. Inspect the door lock for damage or wear if the boot looks to be in good condition.

Washer leaking water from underneath

Your leak could be coming from the rubber door seal. Inspect all the way around the rubber seal paying particular attention to the areas behind the rubber seal where it meets the wash tub. They wear with age and can develop small holes. When they start leaking it appears like water coming from under the machine. I hopes this helps.

Washer overfilling

There are two reasons could cause washer's overfilling. - A defective water entrance valve - Water supply to the dishwasher is done through an electromagnet valve, loocated at the water pipe's enterance to the machine. A defect in the valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it, and the valve may leak and drip water into the tub.You can easyly open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from the machine before doing it !!!!! and to close water main tap to the machine. In case cleaning doesn't help, you should replace the valve. - Water switch level - I am not familiar with this specific machine, but there are 2 types of level switches. 1)A diaphragm device with a small clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. 2)Floating switch that located inside the dishwasher's bottom and operate a switch. In case there is a floating switch in your dishwasher - check for its smooth movment and check as well the switch by a multi-meter (an on/off switch). Defective switch should be replaced. If level switch in your dishwasher is a diaphragm device - Open the rear panel, find the device and clear first any obstruction in the tube.In case it doesn't help, disconnect the wires from the unit (you should disconnect first machine's power cable !!!!!) and measure with a multi-meter on its tugs for continuity and disconnection while you are inhale and blow to its tube. In case it will not react, you should replace it. Good luck !!
