All you need is a power plug adapter. At Radio Shack you can find one for US plugs to any other plug in another country. They will be able to order a reverse adapter, one to adapt Aussie plugs to US plugs. I'd start there and they'll find you one no doubt about it.

Yes, there must be an issue with the adapter aussie male to female /male US adapter. This could be the only problem especially if you have to push hard to get a hookup.

Sorry, but this has got to be the problem. I have too much experience in this field to believe otherwise.

My ASUS P4T533-C won't turn on

This is really a common problem with computers these days. It may be caused by a number of reasons like a faulty charging system, faulty battery or anything burned out on the computer's system board. But in this scenario, i would suggest the following
1. Remove the battery and connect the laptop with the AC adapter only and see if it will respond.
2. Remove the AC and re-connect the battery and try to turn it on
3. If the above two do not work, then consider changing the AC adapter for your laptop. You can try to use a different AC adapter that has the same rating as your laptop's. The problem might be with the Charger.
4. But if all this does'nt work, consider getting a Computer Technician who can open up your computer and check the circuit board, there might be a problem with one of the chips

No Power Issues on Laptops

There are 3 things to consider in order for you to determine a No Power Issue

3. Take out the Battery....Usually there is a battery indicator that you can push at the back of the battery

4. By Now the battery power indicator should be full since it was never taken out

5. If still theres no light on the battery.... replace battery

6. Turn the laptop on without the battery

7. If the computer still did not turned on check the AC Adapter if there is light coming out

8. If there's no light that comes out from the AC Adapter. Reseat the cable from the AC Adapter to the Cord

Please make sure both the wires between the adapter to the wall and to the notebook are well plugged and the LED on the adapter is alight
Step5 :

Please check the power status indicator to make sure whether the notebook is powered on
Step6 :

Please make sure whether the CPU fan perform the testing run when the power is switched on
Step7 :

Instructions for how to change ram cards in asus a3500L laptop

Hi there.
Power off the laptop and remove the battery, turn the laptop upside down so the underneath is facing you, look for a couple of panels with screws in them like this >>>>>>>> 5cf620c.jpeg.
It may differ to your laptop slightly but they are about the same. At the sides of the ram you will see 2 little lugs that keeps the ram in place, with your thumbs push them both outwards away from the ram and the module will pop up and you will be able to remove them/it.
When you put new ram in make sure it is well seated and that it has clicked into place.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

You could leave it off for a few hours, but there is a much faster solution that does pretty much the same thing. Turn your computer off, unplug ur AC and battery. Then press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. This will drain all of the power remaining in ur computer. Then plug ur ac adapter back in and it should be fine.

If the fan was not functioning - or blocked - it could have caused the processor to fail but not the drive. Try disconnecting the battery and the ac charger - then reconnect just the charger and try again - that is a hard reset. Is the laptop showing lights or fan noise or is it just completely dead?

Please rate my assistance accordingly.............

The laptop turns itself off but doesnt come back on properly. if u touch it in the wrong way it will turn off. sometimes the power comes on but no screen

the power supply inside check for the AC adopter if not the problem is due to DC jack.if you change is it ll go well.since you are saying there is no display check out the VGA....hook up theexternal VGA port and try .if there is a display then you have to change theVGA.
