Problem for Fuji FinePix 2650 Digital Camera
LCD SCREEN WONT WORK
Hi there, I have a Fuji finepix 2650 and for some reason the LCD screen won?t work. It comes on but it is not showing any picture just a blue screen with black lines through it. The big problem is that I cannot use any of the controls, as I have to see where I am navigating! Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot, Leesa.

- my camera was working ok (was MUCH darker then normal) in normal light it would only pick up lights like LEDS but recently it just started taking pictures of stripes, the control pannel is stripes, the video is a striped screen. it's just grey and black stripes...- GuestSep 14, 2008

Here's the official letter from Fuji:...............
FUJI PHOTO FILM U.S.A., INC. announces that some of the FinePix A303, F410, and F700 digital camera models may develop a problem with the CCD imaging sensor. However, the problem affects a limited number of units and may not occur in all cameras.
The symptoms are captured images that appear completely black, have a purplish cast or multi- colored distortions. These symptoms would be seen on the camera LCD monitor when the camera is in the shooting mode or during playback. A limited number of these models will have these problems.
Your camera is certainly giving the signs of a bad CCD but it's not on Fuji's list.
But don't worry I had my 602Z fixed for free out of warranty and there's plenty of reports of other Fuji models not listed being repaired.
Email Fuji and explain what your camera is doing and as long as you have the warrabty card and proof of purchase they should help you out. GOOD LUCK
