To delete a user profile paassword do the following:
1. Click start
2. Click Control Panel
3. User profiles/Accounts
4. Find the user account you want to change and change the password

-- FYI to change another user account password for someone else you must have admin privelages on the computer

- To change your own password hit: Cntrl-Alt-Delete and choose change password option.
- If you are unable to change your own password and you have an XP machine then you will eed Wintel System Commander to change a admin password. This software is paid software.

How can i delete a user account from my macbook osx

Hiya. So long as it's not the main (Administrator), account it's pretty straightforward:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Accounts.

1. Click the lock icon to unlock it, and type an administrator name and password.
2. Select the user account you want to delete, and then click the Delete (-) button.
3. Click OK to save the user's files on the computer, or click Delete Immediately to remove the user account and all the user's files. If you saved the user's files, they are stored in a disk image in the Deleted Users folder, in the Users folder. To see the saved files, double-click the disk image in the Deleted Users folder. To delete the user's files, drag the disk image to the Trash.

Hope this helps :)

Hello,

I assume you are talking about the computer's BIOS password and not the Windows password.

Reboot the computer and watch for a message that says something like "For Setup Press F10". It may be another F key or perhaps Delete. You only have a couple seconds to press it so if you miss it, just let it go into Windows and reboot again.

Once in the BIOS look for the Security section and select Disable for the password setting.

Once it is disabled one of the F keys should let you Save & Exit. When you do, it should go straight into Windows.

NOTE: If you are talking about the Windows password, just go into Control Panel>User Accounts and select Remove Password. It may prompt you for the password.

Thanks for using Fixya.

If you have type in your your credentials correctly and still get "invalid user name or password" probably your account had been hijacked by someone or you have not been use your account for a long time and sometime dormant account is deleted.

Don't fret just create a new account with msn.

Sir in windows 7 how can i delete administrator account

For that you need to enter in default administrator account.
By default there is 1 default administrator account in windows then you can create new administrator account as you like.
If you want to delete your new created administrator account then enter in default administrator account for that when it ask for use name and password enter in user name "administrator" then enter password if any or leave it blank then you can login as administrator accounts.
then right click on my computer then click on manage then go to Local user and groups then click on user right click on your account and delete it you can also create new account there. You can also use control panel->user accounts for modify users accounts.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I want to know how to delete a standerd user account?

I you are using Windows, click "Start" then "Control Panel" then "User Accounts," then "Change an Account." Choose the account you wish to delete, then click "Delete Account" it will ask you if you want to keep the account's files, say yes only if you had something important on that account. NOTE:you can only delete accounts if you are a administrator.
If you are using a Mac, click "System Preferences" then "Accounts" then select the account you wish to delete and click the little minus sign at the bottom. NOTE: Like Windows, you can only delete accounts if you are an administrator.

are you the local administrator on this machine???
if so, login as administator, go to control panel>user accounts and create a new user/password.
logout and log back in as the new user. you should see all of the icon and program, provided he didn't deleted them.

Lost user account

You actually probably created the new account as an admin. You don't really need to recover it. You just use this account as your admin account. You can then create another non admin account now and have everyone else besides the "admin" likely being you, can use the non admin account. All your files can still be found in "rootdrive:\Documents and settings\administrator
There you can find all your documents that you had in My documents under the administrator account.
Hope this helps,
Midwest
