If you have the user guide/manual with you can do it yourself.
If the above process does not solve the problem then it means that the printer require repair for which you have to refer to the nearest Canon service center

Colour ink cartridge not reconise. replace colour ink cartridge.cod 3603

To resolve the issue:
  1. Make sure you install the correct type of KODAK Ink Cartridge for your printer. Currently we offer two types of ink cartridges (10 Series and 30 Series). Installing the wrong type of ink cartridge may result in this error. You will need to install a new, correct type of KODAK Ink Cartridge.
NOTE: For more information, see Which ink cartridges to buy for all-in-one printer.
  2. If you are using the correct type of KODAK Ink Cartridge, reinstall the color ink cartridge.
    1. Open the printer access door.
NOTE: If the ink cartridges don't move to the center, see Printhead and ink cartridges don't move to center with access door open.
    2. Wait until the printhead is idle and silent, then pinch the latch on the color ink cartridge with your thumb and forefinger and lift it out of the printhead.
    3. Install the color ink cartridge back into the printer, making sure to press down on the thumb tab until it clicks into place.
    4. Close the printer access door. For printers with LCDs, follow the instructions on the LCD screen.
For more information on installing ink cartridges, see the Extended User Guide for your printer. Review Maintaining Your Printer - Replacing ink cartridges.
  3. If the error continues, restart your printer:
    1. Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
    2. Wait five seconds.
    3. Turn on the printer.
  4. If the error continues, and you have extra, new KODAK Ink Cartridges on-hand, try to install a new ink cartridge (or a set of new ink cartridges).
  5. If the error continues, contact us.
When the issue is resolved, we highly recommend that you upgrade the firmware for your printer for optimum performance:
  1. Locate and select the firmware for your printer.
  2. Follow the instructions to install the firmware.

Printer is asking for new ink cartridge - which

There should be a reset ink counter in the printers properties. There also shouldve been a message on the lcd about the new cartridges installed. If you didnt answer those questions and just continued with the printing you will get the error messages that your getting. The error should go away once you go into the properties and reset it.

Best of luck..

How to install new cartridge

Make sure the printer is on and not printing. Have a new cartridge handy, as this installation should be done in one session.

Note if the "cartridge is low" or the "cartridge is empty" light is activated on the printer and follow the specific instructions carefully in the document below for each situation.

Printer set up

you need to refer to the part in your instruction manual on installing printer cartridges. the computer/printer does not or will not print as the cartridge needs to be setup first ie the amount of ink and a general printer head test. if you don't have the manual check this site out and download it, at the top on the right hand side type in pixma mp150, then enter on the next page chose operating system and then language, then submit, go right to the bottom and chose printer user guide, then on the next page under manual click on the .exe file and it will download. Open this from your desktop. I have looked at it and it seems as if you need to do it from your software within windows - check ink level is found under the heading routine maintenance. Hope this solves the problem!
