What do you do if the built in microphone for the Toshiba Satellite M305D-S4840 is not working (not picking up sound)?

If the person cannot hear you then, either your microphonedriver not installed or not working OR the microphone is not configured inSkype.
To test your microphone then click on Start - All Programs - Accessories -Entertainment - Sound recorder. Then record your voice and then play it back.If this is OK then the microphone need to be configured in Skype.
To configure the microphone - Open Skype - Tools - Options -Audio Settings for the Microphone THEN click on Save.

Toshiba Laptop A200-AH5. My computer seems dead and there is only the blue (I think battery light) light that is on. Nothing else works. I hope my laptop didnt crash? Please help me.

Most likely the problem is related to the board. Also most likely the light you are seeing is the power light. Do you get any blinking lights? Try also an external monitor and see if that works.

Does a Toshiba Equium A200 have a built in microphone?

Here are two different spec sheets for the A200-1V0 & A200-196. Neither one lists a "built-in mic" but both support external mics via 3/8 jack. Also there's always the possibility of using a USB mic.
A200-1V0
A200-196
Hope this helps, if so please comment, vote, etc.
Thank you.
