Troubles about Shecom Ikebana 1394HDD

Dear sir/madam:

I have two 1394HDDs (Shecom Ikebana FireBlaster 40 GB). They are pretty good. But there is a problem. I use these two 1394 HDDs in Windows Vista, every time I plug both of them in my computer, they can be recognized, but a problem occurred! I can not use these two 1394HDDs, if I have any action on these 1394HDDs, my computer will show no responding. I've tried to use these two 1394HDDs separately, and it worked without any problem.
I have also tried other brand 1394HDDs on this computer, they worked well. So I want to know if this problem is coursed by these two 1394HDDs. If so, could you tell me the solution of this problem?
Thanks!!!

    Thanks for your solution.

    I've tride the solution,but it didn't work.

    you said change the BIOS in your solution.

    so I wanna know which BIOS I need to change and why other brands of 1394 HDDs can be used without this problem.

    thanks very much!

    I've already tried 40GB and 80 GB,it still didn't work;

    I use other brands of 1394HDDs,no problem;

    And if I pluged one of other brands of 1394HDDs and Shecom Ikebana FireBlaster in my computer,my computer will show no responding.

Try to connected them one at a time.
connect one and let the machine find it and assign a drive letter. then connect the other one.
that should work. of not, then you need to change the BIOS to recognize additional drive.

    when you have one plugged i the computer can ID the drive. but when you have both in, the computer is confused, because both are the same make and size. That is why the computer come out with unrecognized drive.

    this is what I sugguest, partition one of the drive to 35/5GB. that way the computer will able to detect 3 drive instead of 2, and you will be able to use the both external drive on the same machine.

    the only thing I can suggest at this time.

    check the manufacture web site, see if there are any updates to the software and drivers for the fire wire.

    good luck

Usb doesnt recognize serial device

You didn't mention exactly what keyspan device you're trying to install. That's some pretty important information, but I'm going to make a suggestion based on what I've got at this moment. If you need more, you've got to give more info.

I'm assuming that if there is a power supply for your device, it is plugged in and working properly. Do you have the drivers installed for the end device? If not, the device might not be backward compatible. Your best bet would be to simply run it on an older computer, if you can.

If it was me, I think I'd carefully check the pins on the device you're trying to adapt to USB. Those pins are pretty delicate, compared to USB. One bent or missing data pin and it might not work.

I cannot install BF 810

The problem is two-fold: correct device driver for the endoscope, and correct driver for the adapter.

Please check with the manufacturer of the endoscope whether that connection expects a standard RS-232 port. They might be able to recommend the proper driver combination to get this to work.

I search on internet about Epson (C823061) Serial Adapter

It’s going to be a tough find (EPSON discontinued the item).
See if your printer is listed and see if EPSON has something else that will work: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/ProductQuickSpec.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=8348&category=

The ADAM-4520 is a converter between RS-232 and RS-485/RS-422

Look on this link for the FAQ for the ADAM-4520

But to answer your question about converting from 9,600 baud to  19,200 baud, I'm not sure I understand. The device should support those data rates. It all depends on what you need to do.
